Jax is an experienced performer and has been actively involved in the performing scene. He took his first step towards performing on stage when he auditioned for The Ark music cafe in year 2002. Driven by the passion to sing, Jax went on to become a regular singer at the cafe. It was then he picked up his first instrument — the acoustic guitar, and subsequently worked professionally alongside with various singers and musicians.

Over the years, Jax has also performed at numerous private or public events, including several shows for Esplanade’s “Coffee Morning & Afternoon Tea”. He also went on to take up regular gigs at entertainment outlets such as NTUC clubs, Resorts World Sentosa and Marina Bay Sands. As a singer and guitarist, his repertoire consists of mainly English and Mandarin numbers.

As a educator, Jax has been invited to perform and coach on Mediacorp OKTO LIVE programme on national TV.

Besides his love and passion for music, he is also a certified scuba diving coach who enjoys diving activities.
