Jax is a seasoned performer whose passion for music has guided his journey for over two decades. He first stepped onto the stage in 2002 when he auditioned for The Ark Music Cafe, quickly becoming a regular performer. Around the same time, he began learning the acoustic guitar, dedicating himself to developing his skills and exploring the instrument’s versatility. Over the years, he has refined his guitar technique, and later the ukulele, through both self-study and collaborations with other musicians, using these instruments to complement his singing and expand his musical expression.

Throughout his career, Jax has performed at numerous private and public events, including Esplanade’s Coffee Morning & Afternoon Tea series, and has held regular engagements at venues such as NTUC clubs, Resorts World Sentosa, and Marina Bay Sands. He has collaborated with a diverse range of singers and musicians, building a rich foundation of experience, and his repertoire, spanning both English and Mandarin songs, reflects his versatility as a singer and instrumentalist.

In addition to performing, Jax shares his expertise as an educator, having been invited to perform and provide coaching on Mediacorp OKTO LIVE, reaching audiences on national television.
